New management structure for Berentzen
Scarcely 50 days after the new Chairman of the Board took office,
Berentzen-Gruppe AG, Haselünne, Germany, presented its future management
structure. This will see Axel Dahm (44) holding overall responsibility in
his capacity as Chairman of the Board. He will be supported by an eight-man
management committee which will oversee operative tasks. Two managers from
this committee will be appointed as chief representatives, adding to their
fields of responsibility. The company views this arrangement as optimal in
light of the market-oriented measures planned for the current year.
The transition to a one-man Executive Board will require an amendment of
the statutes at the Annual General Meeting in May of this year. To ensure
that the company acts in accordance with the statutes in the meantime, an
interim Executive Board with Max Pelikan (72) will hold the reins until the
AGM.
In addition to their operative fields of responsibility, Christian
Berentzen (41) and Ralf Brühöfner (41) have been assigned additional areas
of responsibility in their capacity as the company’s chief representatives.
Ralf Brühöfner will manage the Finance, Human Resources and IT Divisions
throughout the entire Group. Christian Berentzen will assume overall
responsibility for Vivaris Getränke GmbH & Co. KG (subsidiary of
Berentzen-Gruppe AG for alcohol-free drinks) as Chairman of the Executive
Board. He will also assume responsibility for opening up new product
fields.
